Twitch keeps VODs for a short window. If you need the transcript, do it now.

The 30-second answer

Copy the URL — VODs look like twitch.tv/videos/..., clips look like clips.twitch.tv/.... Paste on TranscriptX.

Step-by-step

1) Find the VOD or clip

twitch.tv → the channel → Videos (or Clips). Open the one you want.

2) Copy the URL from the browser

Regular streams become VODs automatically. Highlights and clips have permanent URLs.

3) Paste on TranscriptX

Long streams take a few minutes. Go grab coffee.

Common things that break

• VOD expired. 7 days for regular users, 14 for Affiliates, 60 for Partners.
• Subscriber-only stream. Paywall. We can’t subscribe for you.
• Stream muted for DMCA. Muted sections produce no transcript (silence).
• Game-audio-only chunks. If the streamer lets the game narrate, expect a thin transcript.
