How to Transcribe a Rumble Video
Updated 24 Apr 2026 · TranscriptX editorial
Step-by-step
1) Open the Rumble page
On rumble.com, open the video you want. The URL in your browser is what you need — you don't need an account.
2) Copy the URL
URL format is rumble.com/v4abc12-title-of-the-video.html. The embed URL (rumble.com/embed/v4abc12/) also works.
3) Paste on TranscriptX
Drop the URL on transcriptx.xyz, hit Transcribe. Long streams take a few minutes.
Common things that break
- Rumble+ locked video. Premium-tier Rumble+ content requires a paid login. We can't subscribe for you.
- Age-gated content. Rumble's 18+ videos need a confirmed-adult session. Our servers don't have one.
- Deleted or removed video. If Rumble pulled the video for policy reasons, the URL returns 404 for us too.
- Embed-only live stream. Live streams that haven't been saved as VODs can't be fetched. Wait for the replay to post.

FAQ
Does it work for Rumble live streams?
Only after the live ends and the VOD is posted. Live streams in progress aren't transcribable — we need a completed recording.
Are the captions Rumble shows the same as your transcript?
No. Rumble sometimes shows basic auto-captions that you can't cleanly export. We run Whisper on the actual audio, which is more accurate and gives you the text in a downloadable format.
What about Rumble Cloud hosted videos from a different domain?
If the video is publicly viewable at a Rumble URL, it works. Custom-domain Rumble Cloud videos sometimes do, sometimes don't — paste and see.
